How can my son join Scouts?

The Cub Scout program is open to all boys in first grade through fifth grade. If your son will be starting first through fifth grade this August, then he's eligible to join. Cub Scout ranks are as follows: Tiger Cubs - First graders Wolf Cub Scouts - Second graders Bear Cub Scouts - Third graders Webelos Scouts - Fourth and Fifth graders Sixth graders and older would participate as a Boy Scout.

Cub Scouts who join a Pack are assigned to a den, usually a group of six to eight boys. The number of Den meetings each month varies by Den and Rank. Once a month, all of the dens and family members gather for a Pack meeting under the direction of a Cubmaster and Pack committee. The committee includes parents of boys in the pack and members of the chartered organization. Pack 422 meets at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church for Pack Meetings.
